Foam Magazine #39: Talent (2014)

Год издания 2014

Раздел каталога Журналы

The eighth annual Talent Issue showcases the work of 21 talented photographers aged between 18 — 35 selected from Foam’s annual Talent Call. Chosen from 1.500 portfolios submitted from 71 countries – the Talent Issue aims to collate and investigate the future of photography. Launched with an exhibit at the Unseen Photography Fair in Amsterdam, the issue and Talent exhibit travelled to Paris and Dubai.

Identifying that the definition of Talent is relative as well as subjective, Foam Magazine has applied professional knowledge and experience in selecting a number of photographers who identify as moving against the current; whether conceptually, aesthetically or formally.

These photographers add something already known but show us something new, something that may very well be part of the subsequent development of photography, photographers that will shape the framework of photography to come.
