Booming cities are seen as engines of economic progress but how does the construction of new megalopolises and the re-urbanisation of war-torn places affect our everyday life? Berlin photographic agency Ostkreuz reveals the backstory of deserted cities and abandoned places across 22 cities around the world through 176 powerful photographs.
This travelling photography exhibition will feature 18 renowned photographers including Sibylle Bergemann, Jörg Brüggemann, Espen Eichhöfer and Annette Hauschild, who shot contemporary megalopolises in various stages of their development.
