UNGLEICHGEWICHT (engl. imbalance) approaches eating disorders and offers an insight
into a potential state of mind of people affected by them. In this ambivalent space, pain is
intertwined in a strange way with the sense of existence, or is even causing pleasure. The
work, consisting of images and citations, is based upon narratives of people with whom
Kurz collaborated intensively for a lengthy period of time.
