Archive 01-09 is the first book edited and published by YET magazine. With this work we want to provide an overview of what we have drawn in recent years, a deep work of investigation in order to give life to a narrative that traces the recent history of contemporary photography through the work of established and young photographers, but also a comparison of geographical and cultural belonging.
It’s interesting to see how, through a thorough look at the series in the various issues of the magazine, and re-proposed here through the use of a single image, one can find common points between the themes and approaches used by artists from highly different contexts to one another.
The key point: what is photography today?
Just looking at the work of several photographers in this book we realize that any kind of story you tell, whether personal or analytical, topical or totally abstract, is the result of a entirely subjective interpretation.
